Beberapa waktu lalu, Kiko sempat pasang "curhatan" di Twitter karena rumahnya akan didatangi reporter dari Yahoo, untuk melihat-lihat koleksi CD. Dia sempat khawatir kalau beberapa koleksi CD-nya yang "jelek" (begitu katanya) ketahuan.
Nah, ternyata ada beberapa CD koleksi Kiko yang bagus, seperti Physical Graffiti-nya Led Zeppelin, salah satu band favorit Kiko. Dan CD dari grup sertanejo (musik khas Brasil), Calcinha Preta. Ternyata, Calcinha Preta membawakan "Bleeding Heart" versi sertanejo dan lirik diubah menjadi bahsa portugis. Sangat menarik karena sertanejo adalah musik populer dan dikenal sebagai "musik rendahan" di Brasil.

AQUA
Setelah merilis Aurora Consurgens tahun 2006, Angra resmi merilis studio album ketujuh mereka, AQUA, Agustus 2010.
AQUA ditulis karena terinspirasi salah satu karya W.Shakespeare yang berjudul "The Tempest". Seperti penuturan Rafael BIttencourt, gitaris seklaigus konseptor album ini : Besides all the qualities of the text, we found out that the element 'water' is one of the main characters of the history. It transforms itself during the cycles and changes the things around. It represents the rage of high tides and tempests, and then the forgiveness and wisdom in calm. Everything happens after a violent storm that occurs in the sea, in an island hill. While the wild waters come from up and down, a ship and the entire crew are fighting for surviving. As from this point, we developed one very interesting narrative that will get the attention of the listeners.
Secara keseluruhan, AQUA berkisah mengenai transformasi dan perubahan yang senantiasa dialami dalam kehidupan manusia, dan dianalogikan dengan Aqua, atau Air. Lirik ditulis oleh Rafael Bittencourt, Eduardo Falaschi dan Kiko Loureiro. Sedangkan posisi Aquiles Priester (yang keluar tahun 2009) digantikan oleh Ricardo Confessori, mantan drummer Angra yang sekarang masih aktif di band Shaaman.
Album ini lebih kearah progresif metal, sedikit berbeda dengan album-album sebelumnya.
